Kjær Architecture was commissioned to design a full-scale refurbishment of a historic residence in Frederiksberg. The primary focus of the project was to reestablish the original character of the apartment, while adding distinctly modern elements to the design, including the addition of a state-of-the-art kitchen. Project highlights include the restoration of the original plaster moldings and ceramic tiled stoves, the installation of a hidden door to the guest bath, and the creation of a custom sliding door, featuring marble panel inserts.
